Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Leader to design, develop, and enhance carrier-grade routing software based on the ZebOS routing stack. This role focuses on core IP/MPLS control-plane protocols, enabling scalable, reliable, and high-performance networking solutions for service provider and enterprise networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain networking software components using C language
- Work extensively on Linux-based systems for development, debugging, and performance optimization
- Implement, enhance, and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, MPLS, ARP, ISIS, OSPF, TCP/IP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure reliability and maintainability
- Demonstrate strong ownership of tasks, timelines, and deliverables
Mandatory Requirements
- Solid working experience and strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols such as BGP, MPLS, ARP, ISIS, OSPF
- Strong work experience in design and development using C language
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, switching, and routing
- Deep understanding of Layer 3 networking concepts and routing fundamentals
- Ability to analyze protocol-level issues using logs, packet traces & debugging tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A quick learner, self-driven, and passionate about delivering high-quality solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
