This is a very simple deployment of PAL Cloud. In this deployment only the private cloud orchestration which is based out of OpenStack is deployed. PAL Cloud for private cloud is a powerful orchestration tool for the administrator to manage the IT infrastructure like compute, storage and Network through command line, RESTful web services & API’s as well as web-based dashboard controls.
PAL Cloud provides enterprise scale private cloud architecture addressing many scaling limitations of typical OpenStack deployment and also provides efficient communications infrastructure required for applications. PAL Cloud solution can be deployed with SDN controllers like OpenDayLight Controller, Tungsten Fabric to provide the overlay network for VM to VM communication and other network services like VTN, traffic steering etc.
Hybrid cloud is a cloud computing environment that uses a mix of on-premises, private cloud and third-party, public cloud services with orchestration between the two platforms. By allowing workloads to move between private and public clouds as computing needs and costs change, hybrid cloud gives businesses greater flexibility and more data deployment options.
PAL Cloud allows independent scaling of compute and storage, adapting to workloads with guaranteed performance. A hybrid cloud storage model combines elements of private and public clouds, giving organizations a choice of which data to store in which cloud. For instance, highly regulated data subject to strict archiving and replication requirements is usually more suited to a private cloud environment, whereas less-sensitive data can be stored in the public cloud.

Cloud bursting is an application deployment model in which an application runs in a private cloud or data center and bursts into a public cloud when the demand for computing capacity spike. When the available resource on a particular VM is running out of capacity as per the predefined limit, then the PAL Cloud component will instantiate a instances in the public cloud.
PAL Cloud solution provides the advantage of economical savings. Users only pay for the additional resources when there is a demand for the resources - no more spending on extra capacity and the users are not using or trying to predict demand peaks and fluctuations. An application can be applied to the private cloud, then burst to the public cloud only when necessary to meet peak demands. Plus, cloud bursting can also be used to shoulder processing burdens by moving basic applications to the public cloud to free up local resources for business-critical applications.
